Truong Cong Tuan is a pivotal leader in fostering HUST’s startup ecosystem as the Director of the Center for Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship. With a Doctor of Engineering in Mechatronics from Saitama University, Japan, and extensive research in applied sciences ranging from brain computer interfaces to AGV systems, Dr. Tuan possesses a profound understanding of the technological core essential for successful startups. His expertise enables him to effectively incubate and guide students’ entrepreneurial ideas.

Since 2017, Dr. Tuan has led major startup competitions, including Techstart, the Young Innovators’ Challenge, and Startup City, transforming innovative ideas into viable businesses. He plays a key role in forging strategic partnerships with entities like BK Fund and VNEI, connecting HUST with influential players in the startup ecosystem. Additionally, as Secretary of the Youth Union at HUST, he drives initiatives that align with the university’s innovation goals.

Dr. Tuan’s participation in the i-Teams Project in Vietnam in the role of external affairs and student affairs management underscores his commitment to enhancing the HUST startup landscape through global collaboration. His dynamic approach continues to shape a thriving entrepreneurial environment at HUST and beyond through this project.
