Michael is a chemical technologist with extended experience in applied electrochemistry.
He has worked for PA Consulting Group for 14 years covering a range of industry sectors with a focus on technology commercialisation, new business and strategy development. Since leaving PA, Michael has provided decision makers with an independent and well-informed view to support commercialisation of novel products and technologies within MK & Associates. The focus has been on fuel cell and battery technologies, but other areas such as medical devices were also covered.
In addition to mentoring a range of CVP projects at the Judge Business School, Michael has been a mentor on a number of i-Teams projects:
- Identifying the best markets for porous silicon sensors (Lent 2013)
- Bio-photovoltaics – producing green electricity from algae and moss (Michaelmas 2013)
- From sensors to gas purification – investigating the best markets for porous metal-organic framework materials (Michaelmas 2014)
