LLMVenture is an AI startup intelligence platform developed at the University of Cambridge. It addresses a critical gap in the entrepreneurship landscape: while GenAI tools for brainstorming and implementation are abundant, there is no scientifically grounded platform for startup idea evaluation. LLMVenture fills this gap by enabling founders and investors to validate their ideas against a proprietary dataset of 4,549 real GenAI and LLM ventures worldwide.
The platform delivers six core capabilities: success prediction, competitor analysis, funding projections, market intelligence, growth trajectory benchmarking, and risk assessment with actionable mitigation recommendations.
The inventors have developed a beta version of the evaluation tool, and are now looking to understand how real founders, investors and start-up accelerators make decisions today, and where evidence-based validation fits into their workflows.
This is the basis of the i-Teams project. The i-Team will need to interview start-up founders, investors and analysts to understand the potential for opportunity validation tools such as LLMVenture, and use this feedback to recommend the initial target markets for LLMVenture to address.
