INNEX, founded by two former Cambridge PhD students, leverages AI to improve operations and compliance for built environment teams. The founders’ PhD research focused on knowledge sharing in the NHS and machine learning techniques, which when combined have created a strong foundation for the INNEX solutions.
INNEX was founded in late 2023 and has already gained excellent traction within the NHS, with successful pilots across multiple large hospitals. The founders are now exploring opportunities for their AI beyond these initial healthcare markets.
The i-Team will be asked to assess the unique needs and challenges of sectors such as school and university estates, transport hubs, construction, and beyond, guiding the strategic adaptation of INNEX’s technology.
The i-Team’s challenge is to identify how potential customers in different sectors might use the platform and the competitive landscape. By understanding regulatory requirements, operational pain points and typical pricing models within each sector, the i-Team will recommend the best new markets for INNEX’s technology.
