This term’s projects:
- Investigating the market for a new device to assess battery performance and degradation over time
- Using wearable electronics to monitor and identify cardiac conditions in people and animals
- Assessing the quality and safety of metal components by using a new optical technique to analyse their microscopic structure

- Crisis simulation to improve planning and preparedness for companies, NGOs and governments
- Using citizen science to increase the representation of “less listened to” groups in local decision-making and healthcare
- Using VR to increase confidence in English as a foreign language and accelerate cultural integration

Each term, Amy Weatherup (i-Teams Programme Director) runs a Cambridge Enterprise workshop on Putting Your Research into Context. This is open to all Cambridge PhDs and PostDocs. Workshop dates for 2025-26 will be announced soon.
